With wedding season upon us and summer right around the corner, whether you are a bride wanting to look your best on your wedding day, or just wanting that fresh-faced look for summer, these bridal beauty tips are for you

1. Hydrate

This one should be obvious, but it’s still first on the list! Your body is made of mostly water, and staying hydrated is incredibly important when you’ll be outside in the heat or dancing the night away. Water helps cleanse toxins from your body, keeps you cool, and gives your skin that soft, bridal glow! Grab yourself a super cute bride-to-be water bottle, and keep it nearby!

2. Get Your Vitamins

I don’t know about you, but gummy vitamins are my favorite thing in the world. It’s an excuse to eat gummy bears, but with the added bonus that you get to claim you’re being healthy! Pick up some multi-vitamins, or even some prenatal vitamins to keep your hair, skin and nails in tip top shape!

3. Exfoliate

One of the best things you can do for your skin is to exfoliate. Even if your skin feels smooth, and you don’t feel like you have a lot of dry patches, you will be amazed what it feels like after a good exfoliation! Not to mention, exfoliation increases circulation and helps eliminate cellulite.

4. Green Tea

Green Tea with a little splash of lemon juice was my go-to drink in the months before my wedding day. It’s refreshing for those hot summer days, and boosts your metabolism while ridding your body of toxins.

How are you getting ready for the big day or for the summer season? You’ll find me with my signature strawberry banana smoothie. To make it, all you have to do is throw in 3/4 of a cup of non-fat vanilla yogurt, half of a banana, five strawberries, a few slices of pineapple a generous pour of milk (1/4 to 1/2 cup depending on the consistency you like), and a two handfuls of ice! Blend it up and you’re ready to go!

XoXo,
